Travel of Al-khawarzmi
Abu Rehan was born in Khawarism. He was very intelligent and became great scholar. When Sultan of Ghaznavi conquered Khawarism, he took Abu Rehan with him. Whenever Mahmood invaded India, Abu Rehan invariably accompanied him. He was so brilliant that he learnt Sanskrit in a very short time, freely mixed with the Hindu scholars and wrote his famous book ‘Kitab-ul-Hind’. General contents of Kitab-ul-Hind are Geography. Astronomy Medicine and Arithmetic. But his particular interest was about customs and religious beliefs. -
