He was the third of six surviving children.<br /> <br />Chekhov had to pay for his own education, which he managed by private tutoring, catching and selling goldfinches, and selling short sketches to the newspapers, among other jobs. He sent every ruble he could spare to his family in Moscow, along with humorous letters to cheer them up.During this time, he read widely and analytically, including the works of Cervantes, Turgenev, Goncharov, and Schopenhauer,and wrote a full-length comic drama. <br /><br /> To add to his income in Moscow, Chekhov wrote for the humor magazines . His first story was published in March 1880 by a magazine Dragonfly, His older brothers' work was published in a new humor magazine, the Spectator. His first book was The Tales of Melpomene, published in 1884. Chekhov's first stories were full of wit and enthusiasm and showed his promise as a writer.<br /><br />Chekhov's play The Sea Gull drew heavily on a romance. Uncle Vanya, a new version of The Wood Demon, ; Three Sisters ; and The Cherry Orchard . They are all about the passing of the old order.<br /><br /><br />Chekhov was at the height of his fame. He encouraged younger writers such as Ivan Buni and Leonid Andreyev , recommended writers for the Pushkin Prize, and was eagerly sought out for advice and comment. <br /><br />Death<br /><br />Chekhov's health worsened in 1904, and his doctors told him that he had to go to a hospital. In June 1904 he set off for  Germany. ." On July 2, 1904, he died in a hotel at Badenweiler. <span style="font-size: large;">The fourth child of Arthur John Lawrence, a barely literate miner at Brinsley Colliery.His mother was  a  pupil teacher. She had been forced to perform manual work in a lace factory due to her family's financial difficulties<sup>.</sup></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><sup> </sup>Lawrence spent his formative years in the coal mining town of Eastwood. The house in which he was born is now the D. H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum.  The tensions between his parents 
provided the raw material for a number of his early works. Lawrence 
roamed out from an early age in the patches of open, hilly country .He
 often wrote about "the country of my heart<sup>"</sup> as a setting for much of his fiction.
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The young Lawrence attended Beauvale Board School from 1891 until 1898. He was the first local pupil to win a  council scholarship to Nottingham High School. He left in 1901,<sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-nottingham1_6-0">[6]</sup> working for three months as a junior clerk at Haywood's surgical appliances factory, but a severe bout of pneumonia
 ended this career.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> During his convalescence he often visited Hagg's 
Farm, the home of the Chambers family, and began a friendship with 
Jessie Chambers. An important aspect of this relationship with Chambers was a shared love of books, an interest that lasted throughout Lawrence's life. In the years 1902 to 1906 Lawrence served as a pupil teacher at the British School. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">He went on to become a full-time student and received a teaching certificate from University College, Nottingham (then an external college of University of London), in 1908. During these early years he was working on his first poems<i>.</i> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">At the end of 1907 he won a short story competition in the <i>Nottinghamshire Guardian</i>.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">In the autumn of 1908, the newly qualified Lawrence left his childhood home for London. While teaching in Davidson Road School, Croydon, he continued writing.<sup class="reference" id="cite_ref-nottingham2_8-0">[8]</sup> Jessie Chambers submitted some of Lawrence's early poetry to Ford Madox Ford  editor of the influential <i>The English Review</i>.The story <i>Odour of Chrysanthemums</i> which, when published in that magazine, encouraged Heinemann,
 a London publisher, to ask Lawrence for more work.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> His career as a 
professional author now began in earnest, although he taught for another
 year. His first published novel was<i> The White Peacock</i>,
 appeared in 1910.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Lawrence's mother died of cancer. He was to describe the next few months as his "sick 
year".  Lawrence had an extremely close relationship 
with his mother.His grief became a major turning point in his life,
 just as the death He wrote autobiographical novel <i>Sons and Lovers</i>,
 a work that draws upon much of the writer's provincial upbringing.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The novel 
also documents Paul's (Lawrence's) brief intimate relationship with 
Miriam (Jessie) that Lawrence had finally initiated in the Christmas of 
1909<sup>.</sup></span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">In 1911, Lawrence was introduced to Edward Garnett.She was a publisher's reader, who acted as a mentor, provided further encouragement, and became a valued friend.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Lawrence and Frieda  meet  in London on 28 July.  Frieda obtained her divorce. The couple returned to Britain  before the outbreak of World War I and were married on 13 July 
1914.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">In February 1922, the Lawrences left Europe behind with the 
intention of migrating to the United States. They sailed in first to Ceylon and then on to Australia. </span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
The Lawrences  arrived in the United States in September 1922.Lawrence continued to write .His health failing. In his last 
months he wrote numerous poems and essays, as well as a robust 
defence of his last novel against those who sought to suppress it. His 
last significant work was a reflection on the Book of Revelation<i> </i>. After being discharged from a sanatorium, he died on 2 March 1930<sup> </sup> in Vence,
 France. Frieda Weekley commissioned
 an elaborate headstone for his grave<sup>.</sup>After Lawrence's death, Frieda lived with Angelo Ravagli on the ranch in Taos
 and married him in 1950. </span><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Mexico" title="New Mexico"><br /></a><br />

His father was appointed civil governor of Sines in the 1460s  until 1478.He studied at the inland town of Évora, where he  learned mathematics and navigation .IHe studied under the <b><i>astronomer </i></b>Abraham Zacuto.

Around 1480, da Gama followed his father and joined the Order of Santiago. The master of Santiago was Prince John.

In 1492, John II dispatched da Gama on a mission to the port of Setúbal.</span>But he and by going round the African 
Continent ultimately reached India in 1498 A.D. He
 landed at the Indian port of Calicut. </span><br />

 great Muslim traveller of the middle ages Ibne Batuta was born in 1304 
A. D. at Tangier.

From the early childhood he was very fond of studying geography.

Travelling in those days was very difficult and of dangers. There was no
 guides or maps and people travelled on horse-back. Inspite of all 
these, difficulties, ibne-Batuta travelled through almost all the Muslim
 countries.

Ibne Batuta was twenty one years old when in 1325 A.D. he got a chance 
to accompany a caravan from Tunis to Egypt. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Ibne
 Batuta wanted to go for Haj but made a detour. He went to 
Baitul-Muqaddas and from there he went to Syria and then to Makkah. He 
stayed there for some years.

He went for visit of holy places to Iran and Iraq and made the next trip
 to Central Asia.After that trip, Ibne Batuta set his face towards 
India. Passing through Samarqand, Bukhara and Kabul, he reached Delhi 
via Sukkur and Multan. Delhi at that time was being ruled by Muhammad 
Tughlaq. The Sultan was greatly impressed by his intelligence and 
knowledge and gave him the office of a Qazi (judge). </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The
 Sultan then nominated Ibne Batuta as his Ambassador to China. On his 
way, he made halts at Maldives and Sri Lanka and gave very fine accounts
 of

those places. After going through many dangers, he reached China by the 
sea route. He is full of praise for the artistic taste of the Chinese, 
their nice houses and efficient. police system. He was particularly 
impressed by their methods of agriculture. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Ibne
 Batuta lived in China for five years and then decided to return. From 
China, he came to Java and Calicut and again entered India from the 
southern side. </span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">In 1928 he came in Antolia (Turkey) and became Islamic Mulvi of  (Madrassa) .Madrassa was an religious school.During this period he went to Damascus and meet there religious scholar </span><span style="font-size: large;">Dervaish Shams-e Tabrizi .After meeting himhis life totally changed and he became ascetic.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">He died in 17 december1273.His shrine is in  </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span class="deathplace">Konya, Sultanate of Rum (present-day Turkey).</span></span><br />

In such state of affairs every other thing becomes useless and like Mansur, he feels pleased and is willing to be hanged on the gallows to get his head’ cut off only for the Love of His beloved, God. The poet thinks that a person's stay on earth is temporary. It is better for a man to have been loved. The union of soul with another soul through the chemistry of love is the highest mystic truth.

<span style="font-size: large;"> Arabia at the time of his birth
Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) was bom at Makkah, in Arabia. At the time of his birth, the condition of the people of Arabia was very bad. They had forgotten Allah and His teachings. They had turned away from His worship and worshipped idols made of stone. They used to sacrifice and offer food to their gods to please them. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The Ka ’abah, the House of Allah, had 360 idols in it. Every tribe had its own idols. The people also worshipped the sun, the moon, the stars and trees.
The condition of the poor, the slaves and women was very bad. They were treated very cruelly. Slaves were treated worse than animals. Women were considered to be articles of trade, they could be bought and sold. A man could marry as many wives as he wanted. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Female children were sometimes buried alive as soon as they were bom.
There was no government and no law in the land. The Arabs were divided into many tribes. A war would start among them on the smallest excuse. These wars would last for many years and would cause a lot of bloodshed. On the other hand, the Arabs were very brave, courageous and hospitable. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> Birth of</span><span style="font-size: large;"> Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh)</span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;"> Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) was born in Makkah in Arabia on the 12th of Rabi- ul-Awwal 571 A.D. He was bom into the noble tribe of Quraish. His father’s name was Abdullah and his mother’s name was Aminah. His father died a few months before his birth.
It was the custom among the Arabs in those days to give their new born babies to foster mothers. They would take them into the desert to be nursed for a few years. In this way, the health of the children would improve and they learnt to speak pure Arabic. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> When he was a boy, Hazrat Muhammad(pbub) worked as a shepherd. While he looked after the sheep and goats, he used to think about the people of Makkah and their evil and wicked ways. He felt sorry for them and thought of ways to make them give up their bad habits.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> Trade Journey to Syria of  </span><span style="font-size: large;">Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh)</span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">When Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) was twelve years old, he accompanied Abu Talib on a trade journey to Syria. On the way, they stopped at Basra. There they were met by a priest named Bahira.
When Bahira saw Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh), he asked Abu Talib: “Who is this boy?” Abu Talib answered. “He is my nephew.” Bahira asked him. “Do you want to protect him from harm?” Abu Talib said: “Certainly.” </span><br />
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"> Hilf-ul-Fudul </span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">When Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) was around fifteen years old, war broke out between the Quraish and another tribe of Makkah. Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) was present on the battlefield, but he did not take an active part in fighting.
In the war, many people lost their lives and there was much bloodshed

Some good people from amongst the Quraish were disturbed by this. So, they formed a league called Hilf-ul-Fudul. The object of this league was to bring about peace, and to protect the weak, the poor and the travellers. Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) became a member of this league. He played an active part in fulfilling its objectives. </span><br />
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Fixing of Black Stone </span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">When the Holy Prophet(pbuh) was thirty-five years old, the Quraish decided to rebuild the Ka ’abah. The different tribes of the Quraish divided the work amongst themselves so that everyone could get a chance to take part in building it.
The work went on without any dispute. But when the time came for the Black Stone to be put in its place, a dispute arose among the Quraish.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Everyone wanted to have the honour of putting the stone in its place. There was fear of fighting and bloodshed.
At last an old and wise man suggested that the first person who enters the Ka’abah the next morning would decide the issue. This suggestion was accepted by all. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Next morning, the first person to enter the Ka’abah was Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh). People were very happy to see him because they knew that he was the trusted one.
Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) resolved the conflict in such a way that everyone was happy and satisfied. He spread a sheet of cloth on the ground. Then he placed the Black Stone in its centre. He then asked one man from each tribe to lift the sheet.
When the stone was brought to the place where it had to be placed, Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) himself placed it there.</span><br />

Hazrat Muhammad(pbuh) was a soft-spoken, kind-hearted and caring person. He was honest, hard working, sincere and modest. He was very thoughtful and considerate about others. This made him popular among his relatives and friends.
He used to spend long hours alone thinking about the bad condition of his people. For this purpose, he would often go to the cave of Hira.</span><br />

He was so honest and truthful in his dealings with people that they gave the titles of Al-Sadiq - the Truthful and Al-Amin - the Trustworthy.
He used to dress simply and always kept himself clean in body and clothes. He ate little, slept a little and spoke little.
For his noble qualities and high moral character, he was respected and held in esteem by all. His character and personality were such that they used to make a lasting impression upon the people.

<span style="font-size: large;"> The Holy Prophet(pbuh) lived his life according to the teachings of the Quran. He not only preached to the people, but he also practiced what he preached.
The Holy Prophet(pbuh) was a poor orphan. In his childhood, he looked after the sheep and goats of his family and neighbours. Later, he became a trader and went on trading journeys to other countries. </span><br />

He was awarded by government of pakistan'' Sitara Imtiaz'' and ''Pride 
of performance"
He was also editor and publisher of his own Magazine  " Funoon" for half
 a century.Very great writers were attached with his Magazine. He also 
worked for many other Magazines as a writer and editor.He  also wrote  
many  columns  in daily News papers.His famous books of poetry are 
"Jalal-o-Jamal," "Shola-i-Gul" ,"Kish-i-Wafa".He died in Lahore on 10 
July 2006.

<span style="font-size: large;">Explaination of poem (The feed)</span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi is a Pakistani poet and he has written several poems in Urdu and also in English. He was born in 1916 in a small village Anga in Sargodha District. He is a living writer and a poet. He started writing poems in the late thirties.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> He has published more than a dozen books. Some of his works have also been translated into foreign languages which have won applause in foreign countries of the world.

"The Feed" is a simple, beautiful poem showing the beautiful relationship of parents and children. It reflects parents' love, concern and feelings for their children. A mother sparrow tries to feed her.children and wants them to be independent. The poet means to say that parents want to see their children, happy, prosperous, independent and growing.

The mother sparrow has only one grain to feed her ten children. She wants to make them independent. She tries to teach them how to get food and eat it.

The parents have deep love for their young ones. They feed them. They help them to grow and to become young. They cannot see them die of hunger or thirst. They have equal love for ajl of their young ones. We can see this parental love in all living beings. Man, animals and birds love their young ones. The poet describes the same feelings in this stanza. The mother sparrow is holding a grain of millet in her beak. She has come Jo feed her young, ones which are very tiny and small. They have no feathers. They are very weak. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">They are hungry and crying for food. ones.

She wants to make them independent. She tries to teach them how to get food and eat it.

The loveliest gift of God is mother. A mother provides food and shelter to her young ones. She herself remains hungry but satisfies her young ones’ hunger. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">All of her pleasures and sorrows are connected with her

young ones. A mother is the noblest example of love, sacrifice and tolerance. That is why our Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The paradise is under the mothers’ feet." It means, serve your mothers to get paradise. In this stanza, the poet describes a mother's love for her young ones.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> The mother sparrow is thinking to whom she should feed. She is joining her beak with their beaks. She is thinking with whom she should solace. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">She is tearing the grain.

She says to her children, "You have learnt to weep and cry in a loud tone." She says to them splitting the grain, "You have learnt to set life on foot. Try to split the grain." She has one grain to feed to her ten young ones.

We have formless shapes. We do not have the real spirit and enthusiasm. The poem is a lamenting note on modern man's soulless life.

In this poem, the poet condemns the spiritual emptiness of modem man.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> He says that we are hollow, empty men. We lack passion and enthusiasm. Our efforts are fruitless like the running of rats or rustling grass.. We have formless shapes. We are just hollow and stuffed men.

Almighty God created everything for man. He created man to rule over this world. Man is sent in this world to get knowledge, about God and universe, to pray to

God and to serve the human beings. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">If man does not recognize himself, he cannot fulfill the object of his creation. Life without knowledge, wisdom and love is worthless. In these lines,, the poet points out such type of deficiencies.

The poet says tha 'we do not have knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, we are worthless men. We are stuffed men like puppets or dolls. We try to follow one another. We do not have knowledge and wisdom to lead others. Alas!

We do not have ability to listen to realities of life. We have nothing to say because we know gothing.</span><br />

The poet means to say that having no knowledge and wisdom we have no ability to lead others. We have no ability to listen to the good things and to convey valuable thoughts.

This poem reflects the end of a pride and vain man. Ozymandias was a king. He was proud of his achievements. </span><br />

In these lines, the poet tells us the story of a traveler. The traveller tells the poet about a broken statue which he saw in a desert. The statue was in a miserable condition.</span><br />
