This poem is titled as “summer shower” written by Emily Dickinson. It is a wonderfully evocative poem describing the coming of rain to the dry summer land, with some arresting and unusual metaphors for the raindrops. Dickinson had an uncanny talent for picking up on the local details in a particular scene - those often overlooked by other people, although when they’re shown to us, we all immediately recognize them.
As the title points out, this poem by Emily Dickinson is written about rainfall. Nature inflicts many things on ever day life Elements, such as rain, bring a sense of refreshment to the world. This is something that not very many things can do. The poem focuses on rain as the topic, but it is intertwined with trees, wind/breezes, animals (birds), dusty roads, and sunshine. I think Emily used this poem to show that everything in nature relies on each other in some way
In the first stanza, line 4, "laugh” is used to described the cheerful sound rainfall is also essential it is how important rain lands. The rainfall is also essential the pattering of the rain leaves to every day cycles. Something A few— meaning the eryonc thinks about is how important rain drops, and how they have their own adventure fallen. In the last stanza, the calm breeze of the air was waiting for so they "put out of surrender, and just waited their turn until the rain reached .Dickinson begins "summer shower” by picking up on the way we realize that it’s raining in the summer only gradually: we see one drop, then another, and the realization slowly dawnsonustnat. although the sky may be blue and the sun may be out, there is definitely rain falling, no doubt about that.
