 de -Gama was born on </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;">1460.Vasco da Gama was born 1460 or 1469 in Sines, on the southwest coast of Portuga.Vasco da Gama's father was served as a knight of the household of  Ferdinand, Duke of Viseu and went on to rise in the ranks of the military Order of Santiago. His father was appointed civil governor of Sines in the 1460s  until 1478.He studied at the inland town of Évora, where he  learned mathematics and navigation .IHe studied under the <b><i>astronomer </i></b>Abraham Zacuto.

Around 1480, da Gama followed his father and joined the Order of Santiago. The master of Santiago was Prince John.

In 1492, John II dispatched da Gama on a mission to the port of Setúbal.</span>But he and by going round the African 
Continent ultimately reached India in 1498 A.D. He
 landed at the Indian port of Calicut. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">He was the first European to reach India by sea.He was  linking Europe and Asia for the first time by ocean .This discovery was significant and opened the way for an age of global imperialism .</span></div>

 great Muslim traveller of the middle ages Ibne Batuta was born in 1304 
A. D. at Tangier.

From the early childhood he was very fond of studying geography.

Travelling in those days was very difficult and of dangers. There was no
 guides or maps and people travelled on horse-back. Inspite of all 
these, difficulties, ibne-Batuta travelled through almost all the Muslim
 countries.

Ibne Batuta was twenty one years old when in 1325 A.D. he got a chance 
to accompany a caravan from Tunis to Egypt. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Ibne
 Batuta wanted to go for Haj but made a detour. He went to 
Baitul-Muqaddas and from there he went to Syria and then to Makkah. He 
stayed there for some years.

He went for visit of holy places to Iran and Iraq and made the next trip
 to Central Asia.After that trip, Ibne Batuta set his face towards 
India. Passing through Samarqand, Bukhara and Kabul, he reached Delhi 
via Sukkur and Multan. Delhi at that time was being ruled by Muhammad 
Tughlaq. The Sultan was greatly impressed by his intelligence and 
knowledge and gave him the office of a Qazi (judge). </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The
 Sultan then nominated Ibne Batuta as his Ambassador to China. On his 
way, he made halts at Maldives and Sri Lanka and gave very fine accounts
 of

those places. After going through many dangers, he reached China by the 
sea route. He is full of praise for the artistic taste of the Chinese, 
their nice houses and efficient. police system. He was particularly 
impressed by their methods of agriculture. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Ibne
 Batuta lived in China for five years and then decided to return. From 
China, he came to Java and Calicut and again entered India from the 
southern side. </span></div>

and flattering voice, said, “Good morning, dear Mr. Crow.” The crow did 
not answer. The fox said again, “How do you do, my dear friend ?. How 
happy I feel to see you!” Still the crow did not greet him. He kept 
silent and thought, “How can I speak! If I open my beak, the meat will 
fall down.”

But the fox was not disappointed. </span><br />

once again in a honeyed tone “What is the matter with you ? Why don’t 
you answer me ?

Have you forgottcn your old admirer How often I have heard you sing in 
your melodious voice! Will you please sing me a song ? I know you will

load of fuel wood. He offered him a Dinar for the wood, the woodseller

 a long haggling the barber said, “Here are two dinars for all the wood 
you have on your donkey’s back. Take it or leave it, my dear man. I 
can’t pay more." The woodseller agreed.The barber asked his servant to 
unload the wood and also the Wooden saddle. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The woodseller protested and said that the saddle was no part of the fuel wood. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">But
 the barber replied, “Old man I have paid for all the wood on the 
donkey’s back. The saddle is made of wood and it is there on the 
donkey's back.” So saying, he seized the saddle and ordered his servants
 to throw the wood seller in the street. The woodseller went to the 
Caliph. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The caliph could not help him, 
because the terms of the bargain favoured the barber. But he did offer 
the poor man a piece of good advice. The next day, the woodseller went 
to the barber’s shop and asked him to shave him and his friend. He 
offered to pay two dinars for it. The barber shaved the woodseller and 
then told him to bring his friend. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The 
woodseller went out and brought his donkey. The barber flew into a rage.
 “How dare you play a silly joke on me ? I, the barber to the King’s 
courtiers, shave your donkey! Get out of here, before 1 break your 
skull,” he said. The woodseller went to the Caliph once again. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The
 Caliph called the barber before him. After listening to the statements 
of the parties, the Caliph pronounced: “The woodseller is in the right. 
If the saddle of a donkey can be a part of the fuel wood, the donkey can
 very well be a man’s companion and friend.” Then he ordered the barber 
to shave the donkey in the presence of all the courtiers. The barber had
 to do this while the people laughed at him.</span><br />

creature did not know was that the spring must pass. If he knew, he did 
not care for . He was young, and there was beauty ful everything. But 
soon the flowers of spring began to face and wither. The days became 
shorter. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> The sun was less warm and the breeze more cold. Still the young cricket was intoxicated with happiness.

He did not give any thought to the future.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> One
 day, the snow began to fall he could store food for the winter, the 
vegetation perished in the freezing cold .He went about in search of 
vegetarian diet but found nohing. His legs went numb by hopping on the 
hard, cold sheet of ice.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Then he saw an 
army of ants out of a dried and hollow stump of a tree. He approached 
them and begged for food. “How is it that your food has run short in the
 beginning.of the winter the ants asked him. “1 had not stored an food,”
 he replied in a faint voice, “I sang and danced and did not realized at
 the winter would be cruel.” The ants were no less cruel than the 
Winter. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">‘ Why should we give you food ?

What can you give us in return ?” they demanded “I will sing and dance 
for you,” he replied. But when he tried to sing and dance, his legs did 
not move, and with a groan he collapsed on the frozen ground and died. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> Hazrat
 Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gillani (God be pleased with him) had to undertake a
 journey, when he was yet a young hoy. His pious mother stitched up 
forty gold coins in his shirt. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">She advised 
her son to speak the truth always. He joined a caravan and set off on 
his journey. When the caravan entered a forest a gang of robbers fell on
 the travellers and deprived them of all their valuables.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> While
 they were busy robbing everyone, a robber happened to pass by the young
 boy. He said, “Boy, do you have anything on you?” “Yes” came the prompt
 reply, “I have forty gold coins.”

The robber asked the young boy to show the money which he readily did. 
The robber took the boy to the leader of the gang. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> Like
 all other robbers the leader was nor a little surprised. He said, “Why 
did you not deny having money?” Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gillani (God 
be pleaseci with him) told the robbers' Chief that his mother had 
advised him to speak the.truth always. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">This
 had a deep effect on the Chief. He said, “Alas! I do not obey the 
commands of God while this little boy so faithfully follows the advice 
of his mother”. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Remorse became a guideline 
to show him the right path. He made up his mind to give up his bad ways 
of earning livelihood. He disbanded the gang and advised all

the members to live an honest life. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Thus 
the example set by Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gillani (God be pleased 
with him) reformed all the robbers. He grew up to be a great religious 
leader and a pious saint. He is held in great esteem by millions of his 
followers and devotees. He is popularly known as Ghaus-ul-Azam Gillani.</span><br />

 lived a shepherd boy in a village near a pasture. He collected sheep 
and goats belonging to the villagers and took them to the pasture to 
graze. This went on for quite a long time. All the villagers were well 
satisfied with the boy as he tended the flock carefully. Now everyone 
trusted the boy.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"> By now he had 
grown up into a fine lad.

One fine morning when he was busy looking after the animals, it came to 
his mind to make fun of the villagers. So he climbed up the top of a 
mound nearby and cried aloud, “Wolf! Wolf!” The villagers rushed to the 
pasture to save the boy and the flock. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">They
 came armed with sticks. When they saw the boy they asked him where the 
wolf was. The boy began to laugh. Everyone was angry with the silly boy 
and went back grumbling.

One day the boy again did the same mischief and the people of the 
village were highly displeased with him. </span><br />

 went back to the village but this time they were so unhappy that they

the throat of the wolf and pulled out the bone. The wolf was very happy 
now. The crane demanded the promised reward for his service. </span><br />

 fox was vain and looked at the cat with contempt. He said, “Ah! Poor

Shall I teach you some sure tricks?”

Just then the cat saw a huntsman approaching with a pack of hounds. It 
said, “Look! there come the hounds. Good bye.”</span><br />

elephant went drinking at a pool out of the town daily. It passed by the
 tailor’s shop. The tailor gave him a bun every day. In course of time 
they became good friends and were well pleased to meet each other. The 
tailor always waited for the elephant to come to him and the elephant 
was also there at the usual time.

One day the tailor had a dispute with one of his customers. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">He
 was feeling unhappy and cross. Meanwhile the elephant arrived and put 
his trunk into his shop through the window to receive the friendly bun 
as usual. The tailor instead of giving a bun, pricked its trunk with a 
needle. The elephant felt hurt at this but silently went his way to 
drink.

The elephant quenched his thirst and then filled his trunk with dirty, 
muddy water. It came back quickly put its trunk in, and emptied it. The 
whole of the shop looked as if plastered with mud. All the fancy dresses
 and rich wedding robes were mud stained and badly spoiled.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> The tailor was over whelmed with sorrow but it was too late. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Byron was born on 22 January 1788 in <a href="http://educational-wealth.blogspot.com/2014/03/europelargest-continents-of-world.html" target="_blank">London</a>. He was an English 
poet.He was a leading figure in the Romantic movement. He wrote  lengthy narrative poems.His most popular posts are  Don Juan and Childe 
"Harold's Pilgrimage "and" She Walks in Beauty".

Byron is  one of the greatest British poets. He  remains 
widely read and influential. He travelled all over Europe .He lived for seven years in Italy and then joined the Greek War of 
Independence fighting the Ottoman Empire. Greeks revere him as
 a national hero for it. Byron was both 
celebrated and castigated in life for his aristocratic excesses. </span><span style="font-size: large;">He was died on </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;">19 April 1824 at the age of 36 </span></span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;">from a fever

<span style="font-size: large;">So, we'll go no more a roving </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">So late into the night, </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Though the heart be still as loving, </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">And the moon be still as bright. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">For the sword outwears its sheath, </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">And the soul wears out the breast, </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">And the heart must pause to breathe, </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> And love itself have rest. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: red;"> Explaination of poem (We’ll Go No More A-Roving)</span></span></h3>
<span style="font-size: large;">The word "rove" means "wander" or "roam." The Poet is saying that it's time to stop wandering around aimlessly late into the night.  Poet felt that he was getting old.He could be saying his life is drawing to a close, that the time for play is over, and that he must prepare for old age and death. The Poet says they'll go no more a roving, even though the moon is still as bright, and the heart is "still as loving." </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">It's time to stop even though the heart is very much alive, very much emotionally ready to go and even though the moon is still really bright.Well why stop roving when the heart still wants to, and the bright moon is very inviting? Probably because there comes a time when you have to stop wandering and messing around. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">This is a way of saying one must stop messing around and playing and grow up. It also is a way of alluding to the approach of death. The poem talk  fears of getting old and fears of "roving" too much sound like the fears of somebody whose life is nearing its end. The poet is like the sword.He's been around a while and has "worn out" his desire to rove.  </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The same goes for that bit about the soul. The soul gets tired of the body and goes wherever souls go. The heart makes things a little tricky. Sometimes, the heart needs a break from wanting to do things. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The heart is a source of love and emotion. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The Poet says that the day returns too soon, and the night is meant for loving, so why not seize the day and go roving. The poet  has decided that he will not rove any longer and even though the night is perfect for it.     He might also just mean he's going to give up going out and getting crazy  with all the friends he loves. The poet no longer wants to be a frat guy. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Love for one's motherlands is a natural feeling. I love Pakistan for several reasons. I love my country because I was born and brought up on this sacred land. I love 
it as it is the land of my forefathers. Every inch of this soil is coloured with the blood of our ancestors.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">That is why I love Pakistan more than my life, my property or anything else on earth. I love Pakistan because it is my dear homeland . It was a dream of Allama Iqbal and the Quaid-e-Azam struggled hard to turn it into a reality. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I love Pakistan because God gave it to us as a gift to fulfil our desire to make it an ideal Muslim state. We got it in the name of Islam. My love for Pakistan has become an article of faithful with me. This land has become flesh and bone of my body. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">It is a concretetion of the traditions, the aspirations and the hopes of my nation. It is our past, our present and our future. I am ever willing to give the greatest sacrifice for her saket. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I love it because it has inherited a rich
treasure of fine arts dating from pre-historic time. People here are hard working , creativetJ and artistic. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">It’s historical buildings are a great source of attraction. Badshahi Moque at Lahore, Shahi Fort,TombofShahnshah Jahagir ruins of ancient civilization at Taxila, Harappa and Moenjodaro and shrines of great saints Ganj Bakhsh Hajveri,Lal Shahbaz Qlander,Sultan Bahu and many others </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: large;">are great pride for us.</span>
I love Pakistan because it is the land of peace, justice and love.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">We all are free here. We are master of our own will . All are equal in the eye of law. All have equal chances of progress and promotion. The people are united.

I love Pakistan because I walk on it's soil and breathe in its air. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I eat from the food produced in its fields. I wear clothes made from its cotton. I live in a house made from it's mud and clay. | smell beautiful flowers in bright colours. I like the fine trees, the high hills, silvery mountains and ever flowing rivers. I love my country because I study in it's school. I love it's streets, roads and play grounds.

I love Pakistan because it is a nuclear power. I am safe from the maltreatment of the Hindus. Our shops

are mot looted by them. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Our houses are not burnt by the . The doors of all important services are not closed on us. We are not looked upon as disloyal to our country.

I love Pakistan because it is a land of free people. They are not subservient to the will of any other country. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">People are free. It's government is our own government. Its industry and commerce are in our own hands. It is progressing by rapid strides in every field. I love Pakistan because its army is strong enough to guard every inch of this sacred territory. For me it is the fairest of all lands. I love it with my heart and soul. <span style="font-size: large;">The reading periods are very tiring. We all huddled together sit into small study rooms. The teachers seem to bent upon pouring outfit all their knowledge. Then the bell rings for the recess period. The happiest period starts. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The recess period is very short. It last for only half an hour.
But it is a period of great rejoicing. All the students wait for it very anxiously As soon as the bell rings for the recess period, the impatient boys rush out of their rooms. Their faces lit with cheerfulness. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">They go out of their rooms like a huge volume of water let loose. There is a great rush in the corridors  and compounds of the school. There is a great hue and cry in the school. There is pushing and elbowing . </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Most of the boys play in the school ground. Quite a big crowd is gathered round the tuck shop. They take some refreshment.Others go to the fruit shop to buy oranges, apples, bananas and dry fruit. Some boys take their lunch in the grassy lawn. Some gossip with their friends. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Some boys copy their home
work for the exercise books of their friends. A few go to the library and read newspapers and magazines. Some go to the school mosque and say their mid-day prayer.As regards teachers, they too enjoy this period. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">They go to the staff room and take rest. They gossip, laugh and discuss with one another. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Some consider it a time for rest and relaxationt.
At last the time is over. The bell rings and all the students pour in.There is once again silence in the school. The students as well as teachers

typically Punjabi festivity. It is celebrated all over Punjab. It comes off in the middle of February. Preparations are made months in advance. Kite makers keep busy round the clock preparing kites. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Kites of all sizes and shapes are brought and stored in huge quantity
Lahore is generally the first city to break into festivity, followed by Kasur, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi. All these cities celebrate Basant on different dates according to their own calculations. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">It is a favourite festival of Lahorites. The gay spirited sons of Lahore are very enthusiasmabout it. People from all over the country come to Lahore and participate in the event. All people, young or old, take enjoymentt in flying kites. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">One feels proud if one is a good kite flier. The narrow winding streets of Mochi Gate give the impression of a kite kingdomt in February. At every step there are shops with all kinds of kites for sale. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The experts of trade earn a lot of money during the season. People spend a lot of money on kites. Kites are flown in large numbers. People compete with one another in kite flying. Some parties act as rival and spend thousands of rupees on Basant day. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The roofs, parks and open spaces are crowded with people on that day When the kite of one's opponent is cut down the winners express their victory by shouting "Bo Kata", hooting and beating the drum. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">This trend of celebrating the occasion has now been supplemented with the loudspeakers, records, cassettes and lately firing in the air.
The night before Basant the cities, towns and villages give the impression of day light. The sky is high lighted by search lights and white coloured kites are flown. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Night kite flying has been introduced by the rich.
People buy huge quantity of kites and store them. They never bother(tabout the price. It is a good game but has great risks. Many sad accidents occur on this occasion.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Boys fall down from the roofs of their houses. They even lose their lives. Some kit fliers have deep cuts on their fingers. Kite catching is quite common on the roads. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">In their anxiety to catch a kite some boys suffer serious accidents. Several disputes arise between the kite catchers. They often result in injuries.
Basant has become wastage of wealth. 
But nobody realizes it. Our society cannot allow such a dangerous and useless tradition.

Among the members of the smartest of any country, certain style of houses, furniture, food and drinks, times of meals,amusements,public customs and especially dress are fashionable. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The fascination of fashion is very strong in our society. Young generation runs after fashion. Women follow fashions blindly. They to look smart and upto date is becoming strong. Everyone is attracted by the spelled  of  fashion. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The garment industry , attractive advertisements and films are playing a leading role in the field of fashions. The Press and T.V have also affected the minds of people. Young girls proudly follow the ways of film stars. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">They forget that a Muslim lady is asked to wear veil A lot of money is spent on fashions. Pakistan imports foreign powders, perfumes, cosmetics, fabrics, foot wear, furniture, fast food, video films, coloured magazines and many other things of fashion.
Fashions are spreading very quickly. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Pakistanis working abroad have poured a lot of money on fashion. It has become a fashion now a days to arrange marriage in a five star hotel. The rich give a large and costly dowry to their daughters.
Fashions are constantly changing. Certain games and amusements, styles of furniture, rules of etiquettes, foods and drinks come and go out of fashion. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The girls are more crazy about fashion than the boys. Some times they like to wear long shirts. Sometimes they wear shorter ones. Sometimes women like clothes of blue colours. In a few months it may be pink. Girls may like a dress in green colour at one time. They may soon begin thinking a dress of red colour. They may like light or dark colours at different times. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">A fashionable lady will wear a beautiful and costly dress only once or twice and then she gives it away to her maid. Sometimes women wear shoes with broad toes and sometimes with pointed
ones.
New fashions are becoming more popular in no time. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">The glitter of advertisements makes every thing look like gold. But all that glitters is not gold. We should lead a simple and clean life. Those who wear fashionable clothes are proud. God does not like the proud.
