My Home Town
I live in Lahore. It is my home town. Lahore is the capital of Punjab province. It is a beautiful city. It stands on the bank of the River Ravi. There are two shades of Lahore, old Lahore and new Lahore. Old Lahore is very crowded. Here the streets are narrow. In new Lahore there are beautiful parks and gardens Lahore is a historical city. The old buildings remind us about its glorious past. People come to see its historical places like Badshahi Masjid,Shahi Fort, Minar-e-pakistan, Jahangir's Tomb and Shalimar Garden etc. Lahore is a great centre of trade, industry and education. People are fond of eating good, tasty foods. They like traditional goods as well as fast foods. They are very hospitable. Lahore is the heart of Pakistan
