The whole project was an out and out disaster.
(3) Concede to: (Tasleem karna)
The candidate called to concede to his opponent after the final vote was announced.
(4) Call off: (tarek karna)
We had to call off the strike abruptly.
(5) To hit the nail in the head: (ber waqt kam aana))
He is a successful politician because he knows how and when to hit the nail on the head.
(6) A brain wave: (A sudden cleave idea) l suddenly had a brain-wave and found the solution to the problem.

Ali Nawaz is a big gun of this area.

When our president is out of the country, the Chairman of the Senate acts for him.
(9) A hard nut to crack:(jis kam ka karna aasan ho)
In our country, to prevent corruption is now a hard nut to crack.

When the two sides got equal votes, the font's casting vote decided the matter .

Translation:
Knowledge is a power. The nation which dominates in science and technology rules the world. The nation which is superior in learning, is also superior, militarily. The language and culture of such a nation spreads in the world as is advanced, both in knowledge and military warfare. Pakistan today faces the biggest challenge in creativity, innovation and invention in the latest knowledge because today’s economy is based on knowledge. The policy of seeking peace, economic growth and dissemination of science and technology is the only way by dint of which Pakistan can achieve a dignified position in the comity of nations. Government should allocate specific financial means in the budget for education in the higher institution of science and technology.
