Q.1 In Unit 4, you learnt how to express likes and Dislikes. We express our likes and dislikes in the

Q.2 Write a paragraph of at least 100 words describing the city you live in. Write about things that you
like and dislike about it. (10)
I live in Lahore. I like this city very much. It is my birthplace .It is the perfect place to live. If one reside here never can settle in any other city of world. Every street and every inch of my city has its own history and culture. The famous kings of history always tried to occupy this city.like and dislike about it. (10)
People of this city are well behaved and kind. They live together from years. Its feels like family here.
The food of this city is very popular. The low price made it possible in everyone’s range. Festivals and celebration of this city are above all.It always leave memories for years in minds. There are great historical buildings as Shahi qila,Badshahi Mosque,Minar e pakistan, tomb of Allama Iqbal,Data Darbar etc.
Thousands of people from other cities and other countries visit every day here. But from last few years the structure of Lahore has been changed.
Lahore is very beautiful.There are wide roads and beautiful parks here.There are big universities,colleges and schools.Education in these institutes is of international level.But there are some things which I dislike.
The people coming from villages and small towns ruined the beauty of Lahore. Population has crossed their limit. The atmosphere has been polluted The rate of noise has been increased till risk limits. Dust, rubbish and sewerage problems are on the peak. . Although it all happened here but no one is ready to leave Lahore.
Q.3 Suppose you travel from your country to another country. What are the things that you will require for
your journey and why? (10)
Answer:-
Traveling to other country is not an easy thing. A man has to prepared mentally and mannerly is must. He has to keep in mind why he is going to foreign, for business, job, study, travelling or some other. If he knows some person then he has to get his complete address . If he is stranger then he should be well awarded of that place where he want to stay. He has to keep his passport, visa papers, ID card, ticket, some pictures and other document save in small hand/documents bag. He should get some foreign currency relevant to that country. After that he should prepare his travel bag according to the weather of that country with clothes, shoes, towel, undergarments, socks, soap, tooth paste & brush, a mirror, a comb, some perfumes and handkerchiefs. After completing packing he should save his document bag too and check it before leaving towards Airport.
Q.4 in Unit 6, you learnt about formal and informal expressions for inviting people. You have to be formal while inviting your elders to an event and you can informally invite your younger’s or the persons to whom you have friendly relations.
For example: Would you please come to the dinner party? What about coming to the dinner party? Now write formal or informal expressions in each of the following situation:
