Usually, people are seen busy with playing games, listening music, using internet, sending messages and chatting for hours on cell phones. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Mobile phones have affected adversely our youth. The young students, instead of paying heed to their studies, fall a victim to the charms of mobile phones and waste their time in useless activities. <br />Today, the rate of crimes is increasing due to the use of the Mobile Phone. The incidents of robbery, dacoity, purse snatching, are growing more and more particularly among the youngsters. They have a close contact with each other and plan accordingly. It is being used by the criminals and terrorists. <br />The latest research has revealed that the excessive use of the cell-phone is harmful to human body. The experts are of the opinion that the cell-phone emits Radio frequency (RF) energy which may increase the risk of cancer for cell phone users. <br />The Mobile Phones are discouraging inclination to reading and learning. Today, students waste a lot of their time on the cell phones in playing games and listening to music. <br />Keeping in view the abuses of the Mobile Phone, the government should check and control its excessive use. The people should be advised to use this device not as a luxury but as a facility.</span></p>

Explain your answer.</i></span> </span></h2> <span style="font-size: large;">Ans: Yes, I do agree with the statement that the chief causes of large-scale violence are love of power, competition, hate and fear. <br />The mankind has witnessed enough destruction, hunger, exploitation and war due to these things. </span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;"> But now the question arises that how can we overpower these evils. Religion is the best thing but is it practicable? No, most of the wars have been fought in the name of religion. Then .what is the solution of this problem? How can we save mankind from third world war? <br />I think the sermon seems very nice when we hear that we should love one another irrespective of their religion, language, caste or creed. We have been listening this sermon for many centuries. The result is not good. Man is not safe rather insecure and the invention of weapons of mass destruction are adding to his insecurity. <br />The practicable idea should be found. In the eyes of E.M. Forster, the practicable idea is to adopt tolerance. </span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;">We cannot love one another but we can tolerate one another. We should let others live to get the right of peaceful survival for ourselves. Forster gives a very powerful plea in the favour of his idea that how come a man in Pero can love a person who lives thousands of miles away from him. There is nothing common among them. They cannot feel for one another but they can tolerate one another. If I give you the right to live, if I do not interfere with your religion and culture, you will pay me back in the same way and there will be peace in the world. The world has seen a lot of destruction in the two world wars. Even atom bomb was used on two cities of Japan. <br />The future of our coming generations will be safe if we tolerate one another. The time will come when we shall leave, hatred, violence and cut-throat competition. There will be no fear and a perfect peaceful culture will last for the times to come. <br />We, the people of the world, should adopt tolerance as a golden principle necessary for peace.</span><br /> <br /> <h2 class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;"> </h2></div>

He catches a big Marlin after the struggle of 48 hours. He is an old man. He is hungry, helpless, tired, injured but he kills the fish. On his way back, sharks attack Marlin. He fights with sharks and loses his weapons. He is not ready to give up. All the night he keeps on fighting and finds that there is no meat left on Marlin. <br />At least when he reaches home dead tired, he once again musters up his courage and hope and vows to go for fishing once again. <br />All these incidents are full of messages for us. It makes a lovely  sight everywhere.   </span><br /><b>Explanation: </b><br />The poet very graphically describes the scene of the falling rain. The rain pours down onto the top thick leaves. The pitter-patter of the raindrops creates a musical rhythm . The drumming of drops against the canopy of foliage appeals to the poet so much that he begins to enjoy the cadenced music. <br />The leaves seem to be gulping the rain-water. The poet calls the top thick leaves 'rich' because they are growing profusely. He calls the lower thin leaves  'poor' because they are growing scantily . The raindrops fall in heavy showers on to the top prolific leaves. And then the droplets of water drip <br />from the top leafage on to the lower sparse  leaves. However, the melody produced by  the falling rain is soft and sweet. <br />Here the poet employs the vivid  imagery He creates the visual as well as the auditory images. The leaves have, been personified poem  is also rich in symbolism.The top prolific  leaves symbolize the  rich people and the  lower thin leaves represent the poor people. The dripping of  water from the top thick leaves symbolizes the loose change that  the rich give to the poor. The sunlight fills the sky and illuminates each crevice of land. It  is indeed a lovely sight. <br />The first Stanza  divulges the effect of  of pouring rain. <br />It creates misty and shadowy  ambience. In contrast to it the second stanza heightens the impact of the brilliant sunshine. The first stanza creates auditory and visual images; while the second one creates a visual image when everything looks radiantly glowing. The whole poem highlights  the profound impact of both the rain and  the sun on humans. Both water and sunlight are necessary for fauna (animal life) and flora (plant life). The simultaneous  manifestation  of both is  indispensable  to create a sparkling rainbow. The  emergence of  the Sun is an image of hope, optimism and  happiness. In Pakistan where more than eighty per cent of the population is agricultural and another ten per cent industrial, it is a crime to make education merely literary and to unfit boys and girts, for manual work, in afterlife. In view of the modem age of industrial scientific advancement it is admired on all hands that Pakistan cannot keep pace with other countries .In the march of progress unless our eminent educationists direct the best possible attention to the introduction and patronization of technical instruction in our schools and universities, and correct the present faulty system of education which is wholly liberal and hence lopsided. An American thinker has said, "There are two obvious kinds of education. One should teach how to live and the other how to make a living." Unfortunately, in our country, we are taught how to live before we know how to make a living. We are brought to know and learn the plays of Shakespeare, the poems of Milton or the chronology of historical events but very little how to drive an engine, to handle a machine, or to work at loom in some weaving factory. That is partly why a present-day student has to face so much of distress and despair when he has'left i outside the . college walls to make his headway in the j practical world. He runs from pillar to post in search of a job with a roll of certificate's and diplomas under his arm, 'but .every where finds the same depressing reply, "No  vacancy? If we do not want our educational institution^ to I produce a generation of beggars and stealers but that of 1 the honest upright gentlemen, who earn their livelihood by  the sweat of their brow, then it is essential to teach the boys and girls in some special branch of industry ! mechanisms, handicraft, trade or a profession so that at the end of their educational career they are in a position to find employment easily of failing that start their own private work or business.  <br />Numerous benefits, both practical and moral, accrue from technical education. The habit of doing manual work Will make pur students healthy, strong and agile. They will have to handle tools in a workshop and this will put a strain on their muscles and make their bodies smart and active. Technical work of minute details will train them in the habits of method and discipline, observation and attention to detail and accuracy. It will also cultivate In them the virtues of patience, faith and industry. <br />However, in Pakistan, there is already an excess of literary education and to remedy this excess, the need of introducing technical education in our schools and colleges is of the greatest importance. As a matter of fact, the neglect of technical education in Pakistan Is a legacy of the British .rule. It was the deliberate policy of the Britishers to deprive us of the fruits of technical instruction and give us only literary education so that they may get a train of clerks to work in their offices and nothing more. But now when we have freed ourselves from the yoke of foreign domination, we must reorient and remodel the system of our education and make it more consistent with our present needs, for it is on education' that the future destiny of our country depends. </span></p>

Europe which claims to be the champion of women rights did not give the women their due place. Right after the birth of a daughter she was buried alive. They had no rights in the property. Their position in the society was equal to animals. Any man could marry many women. They were treated like a commodity. </span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;">But Islam determined the rights for women. They were given their rights in the property and  were given complete access to education. Their rights as wives were given in Islam. </span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;">It has been clearly mentioned in Islam that the men are responsible to provide them. And in the light of rights given by Islam to women the modem civilization is chanting slogans for women rights. In Europe, they are still struggling for the rights which Islam gave to the woman centuries ago. Our society is a primitive society which is still feeling shy of giving the women their rights which are given by Islam. But it will not prolong because literacy rate is going to the boom so we can say that the future for women will be bright. <br />The subject of women and the family in Islam is a difficult one fraught with stereotypes and misconceptions. </span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;">A commonly accepted belief, fostered by the existence of such practices as the  (burqa) and seclusion (purdah) of women, is that Islam is a religion that grants no rights to women but rather prescribes their total subjugation to men. In fact, this is far from the Qur'anic reality, and from the picture that emer ges from early Islamic histroy. </span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;">A search for the causes of women's low position in Muslim society shows that such a situation reflects neither the original spirit nor content of the Qur'an which had enacted many reforms to improve women's  position in pre-Islamic society. Many of the social and legal practices perpetuating women's low status actually developed through the influence of social customs common in ancient and medieval times.</span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;"> Once these customs infiltrated Islamic culture and then became accepted as norms They were naturally identified with Islam. And once identified with Islam, they were viewed as unchanging if not sacrosanct social standards.</span><br /> <span style="font-size: large;"> The recognition that these standards, applied to medieval society, are no longer suitable for present social conditions. Human trafficking is a serious violation of human rights. In British Columbia, human trafficking is recognized as a problem that cannot be ignored. Reports claim that Vancouver has about 500 street prostitutes under the age of 17, although it victimizes individuals of all ages. Some reports claim that many more children may be involved in indoor prostitution.  In smaller communities, the sexual exploitation of children is even less visible. It occurs in private homes, back alleys and parks, at public docks and truck stops, and on fishing boats. It has been claimed that there are about 10,000 child prostitutes across Canada. <br /> Human trafficking is the largest growing criminal industry in the world. <br /> A human trafficker can earn up to $250,000 per year when he purchases a girl, whereas illegal drugs are purchased and sold once before a new supply needs to be bought. He can sell her body up to 30 times per day for ten years or more, depending on the age she is at the time of purchase and her health (many develop addictions and contract sexual diseases). The average cost of a sex-slave in 2012 Is a few hundred dollars. <br /> Here are some facts: <br /> 1. The average cost of a slave around the world is $90. <br /> 2. Trafficking primarily involves exploitation which comes in many forms, including: <br /> • Forcing victims into prostitution. <br /> • Subjecting victims to slavery or involuntary servitude. <br /> • Compelling victims to commit sex acts for the purpose of creating pornography. <br /> • Misleading victims into debt bondage. <br /> • According to some estimates, approximately 80% of trafficking involves sexual exploitation, and 19% involves labour exploitation. <br /> 3. It is estimated that there are approximately 27 million slaves around the world. <br /> 4. 68% of female sex trafficking victims meet the clinical criteria for post-traumatic stress disorder. <br /> 5. Around half of trafficking victims in the world are under the age of 18. <br /> 6. More than % of sex trafficked children suffer additional abuse at the hands of their traffickers. <br /> 7. Trafficked children are significantly more likely to develop mental health problems, abuse substances, engage in prostitution as adults, and either commit or be victimized by violent crimes later in life. <br /> 8. Women who have been trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation experience a significantly higher rate of HIV and other STDs, tuberculosis, and permanent damage to their reproductive systems. <br /> 9.
