Sir, For sometime past, proper attention is not being paid to the sanitation of our locality. As a result, heaps of dirt, large and small, are lying here and there. There is also some defect in the sewerage system.
Sometimes the dirty water of the sewer comes out of the manholes. It flows towards the low-lying areas and gives out stinking smell. A few days ago, I brought this matter to the notice of the sanitary inspector of the area.
He promised to improve the situation but nothing has been done so far. I, therefore, approach you with the request to take immediate action to remove the causes of insanitation lest any epidemic should spread in our locality.
