The Mughul Empire

The Mughul Empire started its long reign in 1526 which lasted until 1857. The First Mughul king was Babur who was born in Ferghana in 1483. Babur was a descendant of Genghis Khan and Tammur.
In 1526 Babur defeated the Sultan of Delhi, Ibrahim lodhi.
Second was king Hamayon who assumed power after the death of Babur in 1530.Afterwards in1540 Afghan leader Sher shah sori defeated Hamayun and requenquired dehli  in 1555. 
Then, In 1556 Hamayun died and young Akbar was enthroned.He was to young at that time.But he was crowned as next emperor with no choice.He successfully ruled at the state till 1605.Then his son Jahangir was the new king after his death. Then in 1617 revolt broke out in the southern states of the empire.
Jahangir sent his son khurrum to pacify them .Khurram succeeded in his mission and got the title of shah Jahan.
Later in 1605 after the death of Jahangir .Jahangir died in 1627 and ShahJahan became New king.In 1635 His beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal died during child birth and he commissioned the most beautiful tomb of love for his wife.
In 1658 Shajahan 's son Aurangzeb occupied the throne.Meanwhile. Shah Jahan's son  Aurongzeb executed his brothers.Imprisoned his father and ascended to the throne off Dehli.In 1666 Shah jahan died .Aurangzeb ruled on empire till his death in 1707.Lastly In 1857 weak Mughal empire came to it's end ,the mutinr resulted in massacre of people of  Dehli and India became a British colony.Finally in 1862 the last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Sha Zafar died.A glorious empire of Mughal came to a tragic endand with that the British Raj started .
