“Everyday is a new day," says Santiago. Santiago is right in saying that everyday is a new day because everyday he had new experience. He was riot successful for 84 days but he went on doing his job. He did* not lose heart. He kept on getting new experiences. He was satisfied with his fate.
He used to say that one day he would catch a big fish. His fish might be here or somewhere and later as we. know that his words came true and he was successful in catching a big marlin. He struggled with marlin for three days and even those three days were not the. same. Everyday he had new struggle.
He had to chase Marlin for three days and three nights. He was optimistic. He knew that at last, he would succeed. As we know that he had a'moral success because he did not lose heart. He kept on making effort till the last moment. He got new experience. That is why he said that everyday was a new day for him.
